Address Forwarding/Phone Forwarding Linking

Hello All,

If you use an address forwarding service/phone forwarding service, would you get banned if someone has used the address or that particular phone number before on Ebay ?

Since these addresses/phone numbers are public and not exclusive for each different person who buys this kind of service, there is a chance that it has been used before

Or do you need to have more of the same details to be linked to someone who is not even you?

Hope this makes sense...

People move house and shouldnt be penalised for last occupiers details to that address.
However, im not entirely sure if there is a way round that. I guess if you going legit, then you could thrash it out with eb and pp and workaround it but as you are here on this forum, i will assume that your real details have already been previously used.

Theres no way of any of us knowing about who lived in a property before we start using the address.Stealth is a risk, think we would all agree on that.

I buy address services and have had no probs. Have no idea if they have been used before on eb or pp so im taking a risk. It serves me ok now because they are accessible and should the worst happen, il just start again.

I guess the only workaround for your phone issue, would be a sim card to ensure its new but you can have area specific numbers.
Soho66 is one mwntioned on this forum. Have never used it so unsure qhether its ok for uk use. It could be. However, hang fire from others who use this and they will tell you whether they are diaposable numbers.

I use a disposable numbers company, against my better judgement i now realise plus sims. I wont disclose the company i use, as it wouldnt be approved by the forum and do not want to be responsible for supporting something that isnt complwtely secure. I made the best of a bad situation when i began stealth. It has worked for me but its not a guarantee.
:-)

Wise words halo, the phone forwarding is something that is stopping me from moving forward at the moment, deciding which is likely to be the best option, interesting to read your note here that you have realised the disposable numbers option is one that you now know is not one to be recommended

Mobile phone numbers are recycled if they're not used, phone forwarding numbers like SOHO66 I have been told aren't recycled.

I use a lot of soho66 and have never come across the same number.

Hard to say 100% for sure. I cross check phone numbers like I do IPs and not once has one already been used

Its working for me and is accessible, all routed to one phone so can never miss a call.
Whether its been used before, i dont know, but i had one call from ebay at the beginning of one of my accounts and it worked a dream.
Because its disposable, it would be unwise for me to mention the company in question incase others hit problems with it :-)
