How to backup and restore Chrome extensions?

Creating and managing multiple accounts require creating and managing multiple portable browsers. Is there an easier way to fully backup and restore fresh chrome portable with settings/cookies/extensions? I have tried backing it up but extensions don't carry over when using the backup on a new computer.
