Does Ebay can know where I live if my account is Stealth?
 

I believe they can track me down, but I just want to make sure,

If there's no bank attached to the account, false name, VCC etc... Everything is stealth but I log from my house.

Does Ebay can find me?

I suppose the real answer is yes........I mean if you blew up some eBay building or something horrible, sure, everybody can be found..........but would they try that hard just for selling vero items or something, I doubt it.

I highly doubt eBay could alone, just don't do anything that would involve authorities as they can find you hiding in that hay stack.

No one is really stealth on this age of the internet if someone looks hard enough. You leave traces that you would not know.

Well, I'm selling VeRO items as someone said, but very high risk, I mention they are **** and pass ebay system most of the time, the question if what I do can actually be able to track me down?

Let me give you an example :

I have seen a seller on Ebay about 8 months ago, he was selling some **** shoes on Ebay, he was selling atleast 5 per days and around 1 shoes each account, I knew that he's the same person even if the user name is different since the photos were the same, description, title abit different but also was located in same place + all the accounts were with 0-3 feedbacks.


A week ago he's gone, I believe something may happened to him, it's hard for me to believe that he chose to stop selling those shoes since he made tons of profit per day.

I want to believe that nothing didn't happen to him but I doubt it.. So I would like to ask the professional people in this forum, do you believe it can be that serious? (I don't live in US btw if it's even matter).

Your ISP knows exactly who you are, when you change your IP, they know that it is you that has the new IP

now they won't give that information out to anyone , but if their is a court order than that information is handed over

Use tor and than use tor to get on a vps and good luck to anyone looking. They dont find bad guys by ip they find bad guys by what they do on their ip.

I think you are being naive.

If you engage in selling VeRo like you have the right to sell it, then authorities have the right to chase after you.

That is what happens. Let me assure you there are sellers in the USA who have been hounded by Homeland Security because of their online activity.

Again, I recommend you stop being naive and not think you can not be found.
