Stuck with verifying with eBay...
 

Hi all,

I was permanently limited last November and am trying this whole stealth thing out after buying the book. Everything is going well and I am listing a few items around the house prior to getting my business going back again and now I am stuck. I used a friends information and a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and eBay wants either a copy of a driver's license, a utility bill, or some form of statement with my name on it... what do I do? Will I have to do this with every account? I need an easier way to bypass this as I want to be selling on eventually 5 accounts.

You have learned the hard way why using other people's details does you no good whatsoever, and if the account goes down so does your friends chances off ever having their own ebay account!, you cannot go forward with this account unless you get creative with the documents, even then you may not get anywhere! You need to spend a lot more time reading up on this forum how to operate stealth accounts. With the tightening up of ID verification you are probably wiser to buy an account, particularly with the huge listing limits available to you with accounts for sale on here for the US.

OP needs to.read the forums most importantly. Stealth guide hasnt been updated so would not have known about this issue on using other peoples info

I have read the book several times and have been lurking the forums for months. I have no other option as I am a college student who is strapped for cash, this is my business and without it operating I have no other source of income. I would love to purchase an account however I simply do not have the cash to invest, I would need to start an account on my own to make some money then build my way back up.

The friends who I did select to use for their accounts have no interest whatsoever in ever starting an eBay account or doing any such buying with eBay.

What is my best, cost-efficient option? Ask said friend for a copy of his utility bill proving he lives at the address? Please help as best as you can guys, I have nowhere else to turn. :violin:

There's a reason you were asked for that information.....Did you make sure to change IP's, Did you re-use any old information? Did you list low risk items?

OP - parting with cash sucks but buying an account is the best investment you could make for your business. They are made by the people who know how to make proper stealths. They pay themselves off in a short amount of time. I would HIGHLY recommend it.
