Auctions, BIN and times

What gets more views? I mean, I'm still trying to figure out how will I sell on my next account. My suspended account had mostly BIN items and sometimes they were hard to sell, and some of my auction items didn't get that much attention in terms of views of potential clients, and I never used the starting rate of .99 cents to start the auctions. Does low price auctions get more attention than BIN listings and if so do they get flagged down as often if they are high risk items? Also, ending listings around Thursdays and Fridays around 8-10 pm would be the best time to end them?

If you have a suspended account that had mostly BIN items that might be a good reason to certainly start of your new account with some BIN and the majority as auctions, and see how sales go with that set up, so there is no risk of any similarities between the suspended account and the new one.

Friday and Saturday nights are the worst nights.
You want your auctions to end when people are at home and online, not out at the movies and eating dinner etc..

Auctions are going to get the most attention but they need to be in higher demand. The lower the starting price the more watchers and bidders.

Best time to end in general is Sunday evenings...just general...can depend on niche too

Best thing is to know your target market for each item/niche, and then think like them.. As in what times will they most likely be online?

For my items targeted at 'younger' people, I have them end a little bit later at night.
Whereas items targeted at 'older' people, I tend to have the auctions end a little earlier in the evening, as most seem to eat dinner earlier and have earlier bed times.

I always start my auctions off pretty low to attract attention, as long as I'm confident that people will be interested in it and will bid it up. Otherwise I'll start pretty close to the bare minimum that I will take for it.
