For the IP question, from what i've seen in other forms, yes you should be fine.

Just one thing you want to be careful about and that is when spoofing your mac you get assigned a random ip address. Just make sure that new ip add is registerd to a city near by. You can check this at whois ip by typing in your ip address

Spoofing the MAC dose'nt change citys dose it? I spoofed tons of macs and they all end up with the same city on whois
That would be awsome if you could spoof it and have citys all over the US so it would be alot harder for THE MAN to find you :D
Ok
when i spoof my mac its never guaranteed what ip i will get. In my experiance i have spoofed my mac about 8 times. 2 out of the 8 times i got a ip from the same city as myself. I live in a large city in the uk and this is the result that i have been getting. The states is alot bigger then the uk so am not sure how it works there.
It would be great if you could choose what ip to get, in what city, i bet there is a way but i dont know of it myself. To be honest i am looking for a method that will allow me to spoof my mac and get a ip from the same city if you read through my post, get a new ip every 20 mins o2 broadband, you will see that this is the problem that i was having. But I havent been able to spoof my mac by just changing the last 2 digits maybe this is why i get all over the uk ip's. am new to this so not sure whatsover
(1) I am spoofing the mac address on my router (did I say that right?) and although the IP is different only the last two / three digits are changed.
i.e.
XXX-XXX-111-11
XXX-XXX-112-22
Is this sufficient or must I change the entire IP range?
That is sufficient. A different IP is a different IP. They'll be able to tell you're with ISP X, but wont be able to tell which one of their million or more users you are!

Clearing flash is always a must. If your phone caches (which I bet the farm it does) then you'll have to figure out how to clear it.

Any site you "browse" instantly keeps a record of the IP used. Although you are correct, that they could not link an IP address with a username if you did not login.
