What are considered to be high risk items.

I want to get some advice from everyone in this forum. What are considered to be high value items. How to differentiate from the non high risk items and risky items. Is anything with brand name considered to be high risk items.

I know items like luxury designers are big nono unless your selling 1 or 2 of them from what you brought years ago.

This game with eBay is like minesweeper. At least with minesweeper its free and try it again. While Feebay and Paypal will cost you time and money.

Any advice would be good.

I am looking into the home and gardening realm. Thanks again everyone.

Home and garden items are good to use without any worries of them being considered high risk, you can't attract any unwanted attention with items like that. Stationery items are good to list as well.

@RosieTosie.

I just feel with eBay its always a crapshoot. It's strange something like a non-brand iphone 6 case is consider high risk. I wonder how the Chinese get away with all the crap they sell on eBay. Thank God they haven't penetrated Amazon that much.

Yes there are still counterfeit items sold on Amazon but they are known to be much stricter on checking for those items, leaving ebay to play catchup, but ebay have been tainted by sellers having sold so much of the stuff over the years that they don't seem to be able to really clean up their act. It's almost like they make so much money from Chinese and other sellers who obviously sell tons of this stuff, that you have to think they, ebay, are never really going to make strong enough efforts to clean up their counterfeit culture.

Home and gardening realm...are your items hot; high ability to be counterfeited...or? That's what needs to be considered (for example)

Nope not at all. From authorized distributor. Also other stuff I have non name brands. I am highly against counterfeiting. Rather it be a no name than anything. All pretty much low value items not more 100$. I'll have stuff that are 200-300$ at most. All legit items. With evidence to back it, but with eBay. We know they are dictator and your peasant that works the fields.

They get away with it because they make ebay lots of profit... it's all about profit, as simple as that. I find the problem with chinese sellers they are not refined, this is there weakness and that is how the western seller can exploit them :)
