How to avoid eBay 4 digit codes on new computer?
 

My laptop/hard drive just passed away, good thing all the accounts info are saved in a USB except browser's history and cookies etc.

Now ebay will not let me ''sell similar'' unless I confirm my phone number with 4 digit codes. All these accounts were made with tracfone and they are all expired. The only way to get the 4 digit codes is to add 10 dollars air time to the trackfone. I really hope it does not happen on all the accounts otherwise I will be spending more than 500$ just on purchasing the air time, what a waste.

More of a waste to not have working phone numbers for ebay/paypal though.

yep, ebay CALLED him. Chance of being suspended if he had not answered the phone.

Simple one to figure out.......which had you rather have now....$500 or ALL your eBay accounts up and running........seems like a no brainer to me.......

Good point. Now I'm wondering if I should still make new accounts with tracfone

Is there an option to receive this 4 digit code to email? I know ebay.de offers this oprion

They used to send the codes to email but not anymore I guess
