Default tax time listing WHAT IS BEST DATES AND TIMES

planning a nice sized auction with good items and want to know whens the best time to sell during tax return and school return money dates and times.

is it better early march or late feb?

Of course I have stuff listed now but want to know what dates and times people have had good success with in previous years.

Depends on niche too...are you buyers likely to be younger or older? Use of items...price...so many particularities to consider

higher dollar the more tax returns make a difference. Keep in mind tax return buyers are some of the lowest quality buyers on earth.

agreed you may make more money but definitely a ton more headaches / shouldn't try to target them specifically

If you want to target these buyers $0.99 auctions are the key. They typically buy the "Best value" item then can afford. Keep in mind though that buyer remorse and unrealistic expectations is X-Mas times 10.
Paypal has additional resources for chargebacks March-May just for this reason.

People with no money spending money they don't have. Enjoy all the returns when they realize they forgot to pay rent.

Im not talking about ripping anyone off, alot of the buyers I get are happy with what they buy and the items I sell are not commonly found. I was more aiming at a large audience who would be more apt to be online and spend more then they usually would.
hence dates and times.
this aint my first rodeo, I know alot about cry baby buyers who spend 1k plus on items

We are not talking about ripping anyone off. We are talking about the lowest quality of buyers.

Sunday NIGHTS, Monday NIGHTS and Thursdays NIGHTS are best usually. I like 10-11pm eastern time. This is for limited quantity items. If you have a lot of items, Monday-Friday 11am-1:30pm eastern time for extra sales.

NEVER Friday afternoons or evenings. I don't like Saturdays at all unless selling super high demand consumable items and have deep inventory.

With that being said, BIN on Sunday mornings for higher dollar items can be good if you like the best option feature and are online or have someone online it can be very productive Mid February through the end of April. I'm talking higher dollar items only.
