Restriction Warning!!!! eBay just sent this to me
 

Hi Guys,

I had couple of listing removed in November and beginning of January. Now eBay has messaged me after few weeks and saying the following:

We are contacting you in relation to the recent removals on your account for '*********'

We can see from your account that you have had multiple removals for this policy in the past. So far we haven’t restricted your account as we would like to give you the opportunity to understand this policy one last time.

I would strongly advise that you review this policy in detail as future removals will result in restriction of your account. Also please ensure your current listings comply with our policies.

I haven't put the removed items for sale again so why would eBay email me after 5-6 weeks of last removal????

I guess they can be slow at updating records.
A bit like when youre suspended, they send emails to you with the latest buying offers..lol

Answer is not to list those items again :-)

Just their little reminder that you will get spanked if you behave badly again......in case you had forgotten I guess......take it seriously though........

Ebay can hit you for up to 90 days after listing is over

Or they can hit you even for doing nothing. As nothing as suspicious as well, thanks for their paranoid filtering system.

My first stealth went down from selling the REAL Microsoft Office 2007 disc.

They said it was due to "selling high risk counterfeit items". They basically were saying I sold ⊗⊗⊗⊗, even though it was a one time thing and I got postive feedback from the buyer.

You know when I got suspended by Paypal???????

9-10 months after actually selling it.

Luckily I had 0 funds in the account.... :faint:

9-10 months later....must have had other issues on the account...not sure if full disclosure has been done...

It was actually my 3rd stealth account. I ended up getting the boot about 3 months in due to "high risk". Still not sure the root of the suspension but I think it was due to IP linkage.

Havent had any problems since then.

So my ebay account got suspended but the paypal account stayed intact for about 9-10 months after my ebay account when down.
