This Is New. Buyer Won The Case Even When Gave Tracking
 

A case has been decided in Buyers Favour.

This case was about Item Not Received.
Buyer claimed haven't received the item. I uploaded the tracking
number.

The item was delivered just after 3 days of item won.

But I got the following message from eBay
Comments:
We've received insufficient tracking information from you. You must provide tracking information in the Resolution Centre before a case can be escalated. Note that tracking information includes the postage carrier and an item tracking number that can be tracked online. If the item £750.00 or more, delivery with signature confirmation is required.

The item was about £8.00. I checked on Royal Mail. The tracking number had signature and was delivered to the right person.






When this case was opened. I provided the tracking number on the same day.

This account was indefinitely restricted last week. Was a real account.

So how it possible when you proof that the item was delivered on time and provided the proof that on time, and the buyer is refunded.

eBay! Sick of them!
Sick of them to give buyer the full power to really destroy a seller's account.

No retail shop gets closed down on a High Street with these nuisances buyers.

Imagine how many cases can won in buyers favour if all the buyer's open a case.

Not my personal experience but I have read similar stories in here before.

Ebay is bad beast and so we all have to know how to handle it.

Buyers will (almost) always win.

Sorry it happened to you... sorry it happened to your real account but be prepared it could happen again.

Since your account is restricted I would call ebay and talk to someone about this. You have nothing to lose anymore but if you lucky you can at least try win against a buyer like this.

I would do this just on principal since this is a real account .

Nothing new.
Buyers win cases nearly all the time and they KNOW about it
Getting at least couple emails a month with threats from they side

Do yu think this has anything to do with that thread i posted up about.royal mail.
Buyer gets refund even with.confirmation...IF insufficient tracking info. Apparantly royal mail being one that apparantly doesnt offer an original destination proof.

I know you said before that you didnt think that was possible, but.it does sound kinda like this case.
Im still certain that youre right.bunneh as you are way more experienced than me and you definately made complete sense about it...but just thought id mention it.coz it sprung to mind :lol:

maybe because you were indefinitely suspended, all seller protection is gone.. thats why any and all cases will be decided against you whether you got tracking or not.

But this is wrong. Surely this is against the law.
When you have proof and delivered it on time. That should count for something.


I am calling eBay up. Nothing to lose.
It's the principle of it.
I deeply believe, 3 problematic buyers were competitors.
Even after suspended, these sick twisted people do not leave you in peace.

What would happen to those sellers that sold high value items. And to know that even when you are indefinitely suspended, the buyer still have a way to he refunded.

The only good thing from this account was. I closed my PayPal account there and then
The bank was removed and my card details were changed.
My I'D was never used.

I just have to pay £2.30 in sellers fee which I have done.

The amount of times I have been Live Chat. I know most of the agents by now.
At times, by just looking at the name, I know I am in for a good increase. ��

Do you have a post office receipt and upload it to eBay as evidence during the claim? Royal Mail website does not show any address on website so a receipt is usually needed as that also shows the buyers door number and post code.

It's not about the amount. The buyer sure wants a freebie.

Unregistered ebay users cannot win a case, unregistered buyers always lose aswell. Meaning banned. Ebay has gotten better with siding in the buyers favor sense all the scammers.

Its like a bad break up when they suspend a sellers account.

I've never lost a case when I had tracking but its different if your account is suspended I suppose, at least in eBays eyes.

Same thing happened to me recently and on different accounts.
Items sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery, shown trackings to eBay and off course cases lost in scammers favours.
Couple sent abroad via international signed for, same thing.
I can't understand why eBay even asks for tracking numbers if they don't care!

Sometimes I think we all should hold a protest outside eBay headquarters.

I am sure millions of million people would protest.

Imagine the outburst and publicity that would give.

eBay hides itself in Luxembourg so they can avoid paying tax in UK.

These special treatment of big sellers is one big agenda.

eBay is monopoly and we small sellers are thier players.

This has been happening since last year. Tracking or no tracking, buyer will win the case.

that sucks to hear. I have been lucky, the few times I have had a case for item not received, the tracking number bailed me out. of course I am in the USA, not the UK.

but on a side note, majority of my problem buyers were from cheap items. like less than $10. I slowly built my account selling items between $50-$250 items getting perfect feedback, then I thought I can list some lower priced items around $5-$10 to help bring in more business and that is when the headaches started. SNAD, INR, etc. I guess I attracted the wrong type of customer. I can understand if an item is not received as sometimes it does get lost or is slow to be delivered. maybe it was coincidence. but it seems the complaints went up dramatically with the lower priced goods.

People are really cheap on there :lol: I'm just humble about it but can't stand some messages I'll get with someone trying to bargin with me for a few bucks back on a really cheap item it's ridiculous. Unemployment is high so I guess you have a lot of bored people and then you have straight up trolls which are the worst!

It is not possible to win a case for a seller. Moreover, every case spoils seller performance ratings. So if you do it seriously, do a refund in case of a request, not waiting for seller to ask for it, then block. These are operating expenses of trading at ebay. eBay is really for buyers, sellers have only one right there - to pay fees.

thats happened to me as well last year around November. A buyer from Australia she bought my bag Authentic Michael Kors $120 and after few weeks she opened acase that she received a different items and lied to me & when paypal ask to her she said a "⊗⊗⊗⊗ bag" which i dont really sell. PayPal refund or favor her, i lost $200 all efforts,phone calls,stressed from the buyer but i have to deal with it or else i am a looser!
