why do people change their name?
 

The U.S. Census Bureau statistics tell us that there are at least 151,671 different last names and 5,163 different first names in common use in the United States. Some names are more common than others. There are*46,243 people*named John Smith in the United States.
Say 1 in 10 people have an account so 4600 people named john smith have an ebay account.

if your name is John Smith i think its safe to create 5 accts named john smith and if your name is frenchie istanbul you might want to stick to close variations to avoid bank issues on deposits.

Just my opinion i know people are going to say its a link but it sure makes banking easier only issue is when ebay calls lol

I agree that you surely cant get linked on name alone as long as everything else is different.

But having said that, ive not used any name variations or real names across my accounts. Stuck with completely different from the start :-)

But 5 different Johns Smiths won't trade same looking iphones simultaneously at ebay ;)

Its not essential to always use different names theres many more factors, but at the same time it only takes 5 seconds to think of a different name, and since there are plenty of banks that accept mismatch names, why not just use a different one and be extra safe

Because even mismatch banks get a little chicken when big amounts start rolling in on accounts all in different names.

Also dont forget not everyone can walk into every bank and get an account. Some people have old bank issues that prevent them from opening multiple accounts and some people live in parts of the world where there are not 200 different banks on every corner. Remember stealth is a world game with different people. not everyone has perfect credit, unlimited funds and 100 different banks locally.
