Need some POSITIVE comments--How many
 

How many stealth accounts do you have and for how long? I just made my first one last night--and now doing the waiting game--before posting etc---However, I am a bit down, as there are only so many "stealth " addresses one can make up etc....Need some ++++ thoughts please

The most pertinant question is how many stealth accounts do you need?

What is your long term stealth goals?

Some here run one account, others hundreds.

I guess I want to have at least 10 , which would be back ups' and maybe 3 active--and I can't come up with that many addresses etc and names--and friends are out cause most of them have at least an open EBay account and buy..........

there is millions of addresses you can use, literally millions.
If you need access to addresses for all your account due to high returns, etc..
PO Box, UPS boxes, mail forwarding services, etc...

No, I had very few returns, the issue was I got linked to my ex's account and he was in suspened mode--even though he moved out and has been moved out, I still had no say--and they cut me off.

I just know that starting off small, from what i read, you always got to verify and send ID etc--so that is the issue iwth starting accounts that has me down.

I just created accounts a few days ago and did not have to send in ID, why are you running into that?

Oh I haven't yet--I just have read thru the forms, and it seems like all NEW accounts are hit with MC999--and then need ID or anyone approching the 90 day mark etc----I only made 1 account, last night, and have't even looked at it this morning, lol but staring off with a limit of 10 ( which I don't even know that yet as I did not attempt to list a thing) is a slap in the face

limits raise fast
1. sell to your limit
2. ship fast
3. answer emails quickly
your limits will rise quickly
always start out with used no brand name items ( walmart top seller book rack works good for me, the books are new but I sell them as used)

so the general rule is wait to week after opening an account before you list items to sell?

I list 1 item right away to deal with the mc999 initially. Like I said low cost used item gets by mc999 slicker than the gulf of mexico!

If you wait 30 days or more before listing, and don't list anything risky in eBay's eyes, you rarely get the mc999 until the holiday season approaches.

Depends on what I am selling, who I am working with and if the accounts are purchased or made.

When I buy cheap accounts durring the off season, I usually buy 30+ at a time and don't get around to using them for months. If I build them myself I try to get good limits right away. If I buy aged raised limit accounts, I usually can get accounts several months old and sometimes with a very small amount of listing history, mostly for activity, not for sales.

Right now I am selling cheap $20-30 items in small bundles testing new products so I am making a lot of accounts and sell right away and taking some of the high limit accounts and getting them ready for EINs with the products that will prove themselves.

When I liquidate retail inventory or get stuck selling a wholesale buyers inventory off, yea, that gets sold as fast as possible with minimal effort on staff/storage/etc.. on aged high limit accounts and I don't care if the account gets limited because I am only using it for that week and maybe another week for the items that dont get paid for. Fortunately my category of items don't have many issues. I try to have enough accounts aged to not have PayPal holds but paypal gives the extra holds anyways so it makes no difference so I "blow up the account" LOL

You should not be making up addresses though.

Ideally you should have access to an address for stealth.

You may be better to rethink your plan if you are going to go on making up addresses. Does not work long term.

I have some accounts over 18 months old still selling well that I've never had access to the address and never had any need for it.

Totally not necessary. Lots of work around with addresses.
