Worst Excuse that you have ever heard by a Timewaster
 

Had a buyer who has 100's of positive feedback change his mind due to the fact that his DOG accidently pressed the bid button

Has anybody had better excuses, i mean accidents do happen but err

I've had a buyer say they didn't know they were buying the item... you click buy it now and then asked to confirm order...

I can honestly say I never get excuses.

I get alot of NPB but I never get an excuse for them. Auto assisstant opens a case on day 4 and closes 4 days later. I never receive communication from the buyer.

I have used one of the weirdest excuses myself and it's a true story, so here it is:

I have a Samsung Ultra series laptop that has a touch screen(Very fancy, very fancy) and after some time it broke, the aluminium hinges of the lid just snapped in half and I had to get it repaired. When I got it back from warranty everything was working fine BUT every time I closed the lid, the screen would become active. Sometimes it started playing random Youtube videos, other times BBC Radio 4.
So this one Sunday morning I wake up and come downstairs to check my sales and I have couple of messages, couple of sales- The usual.
Then I see a message about combined invoice that a SELLER has sent me. Odd.
I see the invoice and it looks like I've just bought 7 different items, totalliyng £480.
The seller has already sent me a message saying how he could sell me even more and that I'm a wonderful client and when I explained to him that it a mistake, caused by a broken touch screen 7 Series... Well, let's say he wasn't too happy.
True story and everything, I felt so ashamed!
It has happened once or twice after that incident where I come back to my laptop and it's added something to my basket or I just have 3567327 tabs open with advertisements playing in the background.

I sold a box set of DVD's for £35 and sent payment information to the buyer. It was their first transaction so I was keen to assist and offer advice.

She denied that she had placed the bid, called me a liar and told me that under no circumstances she would have paid more than £20 for the DVD's and wasn't going to pay for them.

She then added me to her list of preferred sellers?

I relisted the DVD's and they sold for £42. I felt like forwarding her the proof but thought better of it in the end.
