LOVE Donalds email updates but have a ?
 

Today's topic was how Ebay tracks your images--he said to host your pics on Ebays site, and not your own. Now sure what he means by that, and how I go about doing that-----thanks!:spy:

Upload your pics to ebay instead of using your own site or image host.

Ok, can you help me step by step..as here is what I did in the past, took a pic with my cell phone then sent it to my email, then downloaded on to my computer. Did a listing then picked the photo out from my desk top .

SO how do I upload directly to ebay? Sorry, dont mean to sound dumb

That is loading it to ebay.

You are not loading pictures to your own private website or a website that hosts your images and them embedding them into your description etc...

You need to take 1 more step, you need to clean the images, when you take a picture with your phone, it has specific information that we don't want Ebay to have access.....At this point I think it's too complicated to explain what that info is but you need to know that you have to remove this specific data.

Your overthinking it, Once you remove the data off the images just upload your picture like you were doing Before.

At the bottom of this thread I'm adding "stripper.zip",
1. Download it
2. Extract stripper to your desktop or wherever
3. Open stripper.exe
4. drag and drop your images into the program
5. Done
