Default Aged account????

Question for you experts stealther's

1. When is an account considered aged--various answer on this site

2. Does aging start from the first time you list and item or when you say you want to be a seller and enter your info

3. I made an account 3 days ago--have browsed around and watched some things but have NOT filled out seller info or linked paypal--so is this account aging or not

thanks

Your account begins aging from the 1st sale date....When your account reaches 25 sales/$250 and 3 months have passed the 21 day holds are removed.

Making an Account today and selling on it a year from now does not mean the account is 1yr old, aging doesn't begin until the 1st sale begins.

Others might have a different view.

I think your account starts to age after you make it into a seller account. There have been lots of times that I do not list until it is at least 30 days old as a seller account. Then it seems to get limit increases faster than if I had just listed on it when it was created.

But as MM was saying with the 90 days, $250, 25 items, that I do not think starts to count until you made the first sale. Also as MM said, ppl have different opinions and experiences with this.

I agree with MM78 - the date of the first sale is the significant one. Up till that point theres no activity on the account and nothing for ebay to look at and consider.

Technically when you create your account, it's noted of course (time and date). But when it comes to building trust with eBay.. that generally doesn't start until you start using your account.. so start using your account otherwise letting it sit their ideally won't help much.

No.........NOT 25 feedbacks.......you could only have 1 feedback and the holds are still removed after the 25/$250/90 days.......
