| purlss | 02-19-2015 03:19 PM | Help please Currently i'm making alot of money selling virtual items on ebay.
I was just wondering what the legal status is. Can i get sued? Has anyone ever been sued for selling virtual items?
Thanks |

If you do not have the rights to sell which ever virtual items your trying to sell then yes you could face legal action. |

| slokor | 02-19-2015 04:38 PM | Re: Help please Youre being very vague in your question.
Why don't you tell a bit more about what sort of virtual items youre selling.
Also, since youre asking about this let me ask you in return - what is the source of the virtual items youre selling? is it legit? or are you asking about legal action because you fear that the source of the goods youre selling might land you in trouble? |

I sell the chips within the game. They are collected legit by me. |
| slokor | 02-19-2015 05:11 PM | Re: Help please I don't like the sound of that myself. And I don't think Ebay would like that either - as soon as they catch on to it.
Youre selling chips for gambling. I don't see a future for you selling these on ebay long term. |

Over here in the UK one of the most recurring television adverts currently is for online BINGO, of all things!, the fact that these companies can afford to run so many television advertising campaigns surely backs up how much money they are raking in, and for that very reason they won't be going anywhere, they are here to stay and a real sign of the times. |

I would not expect an account trying to sell items like that to last very long |
| muzzie | 02-19-2015 05:45 PM | Re: Help please For me, a simple rule says: -If your stealth accounts operating costs are lower than they earn before getting limited - it's worth it, and you are doing it right. By earning, I mean, real profit, that you managed to move out of PayPal successfully. |

The idea of Stealth is to make them last....unless your plan is to "Turn and Burn", people should try and make their accounts last. |

In the UK you can not make infinite accounts so stealth should be treated with respect and not looking to burn accounts just for a quick quid. Terrible advice there once more muzzie. |

In this forum, it seems that I am the only active member from Latvia, and here we enjoy opening tons of accounts without any problems, and if these problems are, we can go to another bank, or even to a neighbor country like Lithuania, and open them there. Moreover, why to bother with banks, if there's a Entropay out there, working like a charm. |

Of course, it will be in separate banks. But it is bad in terms of showing such activity to a local SRS, so why to bother with banks at all, if there are nice VCCs around, that allow PP withdrawals? |

I've done business in Baltic countries and they don't even have so many banks. I believe Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania all have roughly 3-5 banks EACH, some are even the same ones, different country branches.
If you were to open 50 accounts "willy nilly" then I'm more than confident that they'd call you in and have a chat.
Like I said, I've done business in all 3 countries and to me, the banking was much more controlled in some ways than it is over here in UK.
UNLESS
You are talking about private banks in Lativa that are known to launder RU finances etc.
So yeah, I call bull****. |

Bank account is needed in those countries. |

So yeah, I call bull****. | I have 7 accs in the biggest of them, noone asked me a single question in 10 years. Guess I can open another 7 in another bank, another 8 in another and so on. But anyway it is a bad idea, just because if the turnover gets too big, they will report to the local SRS, compared to hassle-free VCCs. |
| littleredengine07 | 02-20-2015 04:09 PM | Re: Help please eBay does not like them too much. I would stay away from them if possible. Too many issues and high chance of account ban due low DSR or copyright issues. Most likely low DSR will get you first.
eBay takes a better liking if you stick to non VERO and tangible goods. |
