Got 5/500 on my stealth acct-posted a 4.98 2 days ago, and a 39.00 item, and now I want to post a 100 item tonight--is that moving to fast? I need to get back to my higher dollar items--
One was a book, one is a skater's helmet and the 3rd item is a deer scope--please advise---

Everyone has a different opinion, but to get those limits increased you need to list to the limits and it helps to have a sale or two and ship instantly with tracking. I have no problems listing the type of items you are with values you are talking about.
But many people disagree with me.

You are not moving too fast as long as you stay out of the high risk items.

My main money maker is BRAND NEW alaram equipment, door sensors, window sensor, key fobs, and panels---is that considered a high risk item?
I know Cell phones are high risk and name brand items--but I don't sell those things--
Give me some High risk examples, please

I hate 5/500 accounts. I started another topic about these accounts. If you want a definite increase, then sell over your limits. Over 5 items at least if you cant get over 500 bucks.

Build it slowly and make more stealths, simple as that. A 500/5 won't let you sell anything at all that you'd want to sell. Make more and you will profit! :-) I have 1 that has been active for 2 months and i've only sold 10 items on it. I do not automatically relist once my limit resets, I wait 1-2 weeks or so.

The thing that makes it hard is you have to have 25 transactions, $250 in sales and be active for 90 days after your first sale in order to be a verified seller and have the 21 day holds lifted. If you are at 5/500 and it doesnt increase for a month or so, you are going to be waiting forever for that 25 transaction part.

I would take it easy on that account until you have backups.

Aside from one account, all.my others have had limit increases.
Selling to limits, low risk, immediate tracking....does count.for something :-)

Need to build backups and rotation. What did you list exactly. Did you compare them to brand name items?

There's nothing wrong with 5/$500, I've taken 5/$500 accounts all the way up too 200/$5,000.

They may seem like a pain, but they are still usable. Just have multiple back-ups or create another eBay on the same PayPal.

All this bluidy moaning about 5/500 limit account is a waste of energy.
If the naffin account has no suspension notice, it's workable.
Next lot of moaning will be 100/$10,000 is no good.
