Using Andriod Tab to Check Emails (Multiple)

I have searched for an answer to my questions throughout the forum but I was not able to find an exact answer. I have always used iPhone/iPad (built in email app) to check multiple of my account emails. Recently, I have switched to Samsung Tab and I am currently using the built in email app (not gmail app) to check all my accounts. The images are of course disabled; however, does anyone know using the BUILT-IN email app in the android 4.4.2 is safe to use for multiple email accounts? Or do I have to obtain a different app?
