Is Payoneer no longer accepted?

I have read several reports on the net that as of July 2014, Payooner is no longer being accepted by Ebay.com as a withdrawal method

Can the community advise if this is their experience?

I used it on pp.com in November/December - worked fine. I have not tried with pp uk however

Yes it works as long as the account was added prior to them changing the ruling.

If you try and add one now to PayPal UK or any other country it will not work

So failing that, with the ability of not being able to open an account over there. What should you do to withdraw funds safely in this case from the US?
Open to suggestions of even safe items to buy that can be used later like air miles perhaps?
