Using Bubble Mailers and Stamps?

Short story, I am looking to sell some lotions on one of my accounts and am going to be giving away some samples at discounted rates to boost feedback.

Since they are samples, I would like to save myself some money when it comes to shipping.

I have been reading up on different ways to ship and found this: Current USPS Postage Rate Charts - simple tables

Here, they talk about shipping "flats" where 1oz or under is $0.98 and $0.21 per extra oz. Flats since the the thickness is <3/4".

And since I literally have a few hundred $ worth in stamps (in all denominations), could I just use them? I.e, slap on 2 stamps (49¢ each), write down the to/from address, and affix one of the free USPS confirmation slips (or does confirmation cost extra like this?)?

PS: They are packaged in a heat sealed bag, so I am not worried about them breaking open or such during transportation.

Thanks!

With tracking it will cost you $1.94 for first class with tracking 1 OZ - 3 OZ package

If you want to send it with no tracking than im sure you can use stamps, just find out exactly what u need at the post office

Yup, $1.93 for first class with tracking, if it's 3oz or under. You can print stamps as well for less but you won't have tracking.

I have tons of confirmation stickers that I stick on letters just to know where my letters are and I'm talking when just sending certain bills etc, nothing to do with eBay. So YES! I also shipped a gift card in an envelope for the cost of a stamp with tracking. You can ship with tracking for less than 1.93, they will usually scan the barcode when they see it. It works for me everytime.

Where do you get these confirmation stickers? Generate them on your own?

I assume they have to be in a certain format to work with USPS scanners..

Thanks.

What ARE confirmation stickers? Aren't they just tracking numbers? Do they cost $$$? How do you generate them or obtain them?

Through the po online if in the states. They can send you a book of stamps. But you can only buy priority mail online no first class.

So one way around I been doing so I can avoid shipping tool on ebay.

Is figure up the postage on the envelope and putting the equivalent number of stamps on it. No issues.

But I don't think that is free, it even says something about paying the fee tight on the sticker

Those are not the tracking stickers used. Atleast from my experience. I know people who sell these gotta see what price they are offering.

You get these at the post office, they have stacks of these along with other forms, no one sells these besides USPS, I just thought that it was if you wanted to add tracking to your package
