Is there a way to not accept e-checks? I don't mind accepting them but lately every every time I receive payment this way people expect their items to ship immediately. I have a customer right now who because it came out of her account that I need to ship it. It's still pending and she's insisting that I ship now or she's going to leave negative feedback and report me.

No way, unfortunately.

I just had the same issue. buyer paid on the 13th, the e-check cleared on the 19th. They wanted to know why it wasnt delivered. in a rage filled request that I was ignoring them and stealing their money.

After some back and forth, I explained that what paypal tells you (the buyer) and what they tell US (the sellers) are two different matters.

Id explain this to the buyer that you have to wait till the check clears just like a regular bank transaction and what they are doing is extortion and will be reported to ebay as such for the threat of a negative.

I hear that gamble on the echeck...have to judge based on rep of buyer

I've explained this. They just can't accept the fact that I don't have the payment yet. I've screen shot the eBay awaiting payment and the paypal transaction. They claimed they called paypal and paypal said I have the payment. It's so annoying.
