The Apps do not Accept Paypals short code , Text+ works for eBay, but you can use it for paypal just enter it as a home number not mobile
If you label it a home or work number than they will not send a code
It's not a must to use a cell phone for PayPal, they want everyone to be using it on there cell phones and they make it look like its a requirement but it's more Advertisement than a requirement
Most of my accounts I use VOIPS that can't be used to accept Paypals code, so I enter it as a home or work number
And down the line if your adding a bank or sending a payment and they need to verify you through your number than all the Apps will work, because with paypal they give you the code and ring your phone and you enter in the short code for that verification
Just make sure whatever number used to create your paypal account you keep it for the life of the account |
