Well for some reason, and no explanation at the po can explain this. The package i mailed Saturday got bounced back to the return address today, Monday. Which is obviously wrong. So now what? Obviously product is gone. I obviously will have to refund the buyer.

So now does this mean eBay will block the account if guy calls complaining?

I don't think it was the buyer fault. He was on eBay since 1999 and 714 positive feedback. So I'm assuming eBay shipping tool had the correct address.

Po is going to try and track it down. I explained I accidentally put the wrong return address down and there is no forwarding. But no promises.

I don't want to lose this account. 25-30 sales in 9 days, about 975 cash.

Any ideas to prevent this in the future? If I get a po box up in the area in my name, will the po box accept returns and what not with different name?

Only positive is it was a 15.00 item with free shipping. ....:doh:

one package likely won't cause a problem, as long as it doesn't become a pattern.

Post office said I can open a po box, but cant put it in the name on the address without proof of identification. So how do you get around that?

Package was found and held. Po took it upon themselves to open package, felt it wasn't media mail, and returned it. That's was the issue. They said 13 in postage, they could send it right out. I said hell no....send it to me. I gave them my real address and its on its way.

So now how do I open a po box to receive mail in another name? Po says no, so please help.

I tried to get away with it. But it was a keyboard for a computer. So a peripheral item. Thought it would slide.

You open a po box in your real name but register it on eb/pp under stealth name

But how do you eliminate the stealth name so it only shows on the return label on ebay?

But where? Ship from address? or return address?

So just leave name blank and put address?

Use your initials, I have had that work for me, or set up a business and use your business name

You could also use the stealth name with the address you just gave an example of and use that when you print the postage

And than purchase Avery sheets that have return address self adhesive return address labels, and you can just stick them over the printed postage
