Stealth seller buying item on ebay

Im a seller on eba,I was wondering if I could send a message to a seller on ebay my REAL address to send a item that I want on ebay,

If they were to send the item registered on my ebay or paypal it would go to the stealth address, I dont want that.

Is it safe to send a message to the buyer my real address or not. I have never done so in the past for concerns, but really never asked the question.

Just login as a guest, I have done that and been able to buy things ok, never had any hassle from ebay over it.

I've bought hundreds of items on eBay & I get it sent to either my nans address or my dads work as they've never been used on eBay before. I just send the seller a message before buying to make sure it can be sent to the alternative address. If so, I add a note under the order with the address I want the item sent to. Never encountered any problems by doing this & I've had the account since 2011.

eBay can check messages if they are given reason to.

Some sellers will also have an issue with sending items to an address other than your registered one.

Or I send them a message outside of eBay via email. Both have worked. Some sellers agree, some don't. Just going off prior experience. I usually just say I'm working away for a while & need the item. Works 98% of the time :) suppose it also depends on the value of the time as they'll be no seller protection if they send to an address that isn't registered.

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that sellers are not protected for packages from eBay if they shipped to an address other than the registered address on the buyers account.

im 99% sure that is the case, but thats not my concern really

the item im interested in worth about £30.00

Im just wondering if ebay bots can understand words in a message

only if they report you, and some sellers might report you even for asking for it
