Ebay Not Sending "Established Seller" Emails?

Usually at the 90 day mark, I will receive an "established seller" email and the 21 day holds will be removed. On a couple of my accounts, I haven't received any email yet and when I list an item, it still gives me the message about funds being held. Now, the accounts are over 90 days, have had a few thousand dollars in sales and have over 40 transactions each. So all the criteria is definitely met. Anyone else experiencing this?

I never received such emails that you are describing.... The countdown starts when you first sold an item not the creation of the account.

What are your DSR's like as this effects you not getting an holds removed.

I have never gotten one of those emails either? I have alot of stealths past the 90 day mark too.

Re: Ebay Not Sending "Established Seller" Emails?

Ive always gotten an email stating i was now an "established seller"...weird. DSRs are 5.0 across the board. All positives, no cases open, etc etc. Im well aware its 90 days from the first sale...and ive surpassed the 90 days from first sale.

There's prolly a hidden limitation on your account that ebay doesn't want you to know or something else. They prolly deem your account risky or somewhat... You shouldn't be getting holds after 90 days...

Not exactly true.

Ebay is full of glitches. You can always call them up and have the remove it manually and or see if there is an actaul issue with your account.

Like I said I've never gotten a "confirmation" like you said. The best way to know if its removed is list a item and on the last page it'll say "your funds will be temporarly held etc etc" on the bottom of the screen. That always worked for me when I wasn't sure.

Never got one of those on any of my accounts either... can you take a screenshot of one of those emails and post it?

I don't have any of the confirmation emails off hand...I will have to dig through accounts and see if there are any there. Just posted some items...still gives me the "your funds will be temporarily held while you establish....blah blah" message.

Are all of you getting no holds at exactly 90 days?

I don't use this stealth account anymore so I don't really mind sharing the name etc.

I forgot about this account but heres a email from Paypal saying I got my limits removed. :cheer:

This particular account actually had a bank account I used previously but deleted before I got limited. I never really took this account "serious" because I added a bank account that already had been used.

It was strange because all my payments in paypal never were "pending" but were on "hold"..not sure why?

Still this is the only email I EVER got from Paypal saying my limits were removed. This email was 3 days after the 90 day mark. Typically you get the limits removed the 91st day as the 90th doesn't technically count.

I've never had a account not get the limits removed after the 90th besides this account..

Ive never paid particular attention to the EXACT day that I have gotten the email or no holds. I just know now on a few accounts I did not get the email and i still get the funds hold message when listing items.

Is it 90 days from the day the item sold, 90 days from the day they paid, 90 days from the day the item was delivered? What variable is the 90 days from....I am counting 90 from the day the item "sold", which is the date it shows me in the seller dashboard.

It's 90 days from your first Sale and if you go to your seller dashboard and scroll to the bottom of the page it will have Date of First Sale, number of transactions, and total Sales

I never once received one of those emails with over 100 accounts

And it's not always exactly on 90 days that the holds are lifted but it's somewhere after that I find between 90-110 days
