Showing location vs Country
 

I see sellers who do both. Always wondered the pros/cons for either? I have all my stealths showing the city, state where its shipping from but was wondering if I should change it to increase sales slighty?

On the accounts I was thinking about changing, they all have flat rate shipping applied.

I always just have it say United States...never a city and state. Most of thr steslth accounts i run are all out of state addresses. If it says shipping from one place and tracking shows otherwise...just makes me feel better not to have a city/state listed. Now, would the customer care? Probably not. But its a peeve of mine.

How can you set for your listing only say United States, I'm finding the way to do it. Thank you.

pros
buyer believes you are shipping within the states
more likely to get a sale if you put a state
if you just put US, buyers are weary and might not order. some will ask you for clarification though

cons
buyers will send you messages asking if you are shipping from china
if you put a state and it comes from another location you will get messages about it.
some buyers will respond with a pissed off tone saying "man i bought it from you because it said you were in XX so I can get the item faster since i'm one town over"

theres more but thats all that came up from the top of my head
