Several Accounts on same Comp?
 

Never had an issue in the past running several user accounts per one computer/VM. In the past few days I have opened several accounts on the one machine and all of them are only getting 5/500 limit. Then within minutes to a few hours of me listing my first item, the account gets suspended til' I make the call in; doesn't matter if the item is worth $5 or $500.

So I am wondering if user accounts is not enough now? Can I have to only do one per machine or???

Has this been an issue lately? Sorry as I have not followed the forums recently.

Has nothing to do with user accounts.
Most accounts these days start off with those 5/500 limits.
And most accounts get the 'restriction' email when posting their first item.
Its just the way things are these days.

A lot of users get a call in notice, not a big deal. Just call in and answer the simple questions

5/500 is normal as others have stated they also get limit increases generally pretty quick so there not as bad as you may think

Is the " call in notice " your talking about the one they ask where you got your item how till you can ship ... or you talking about the public database matchup where they ask which previous adderss u been at .. Anyone have n e luck passing this call in ?
I know all you can do is guess but anyone got a method to this?

Yea I tried new everything except for second MAC (like Amazon users sometimes do). Still got restrictions off the bat.

I usually do create listings asap which I am sure is the dead giveaway.. I will try more slowly next time.

And thanks for letting me know about the 5/500, as I was used to the 10/1000 and thought that was a joke :)

I have called in and I can literally fail every question and they still give me 10/1000 until I can verify my identity.

Yes, for Amazon and eBay. Plus I have a networking/electronics background. I was a donating member for a while but it is hard to donate to every site I use :d

Just wondering are you wiping the meta data off the pics..? that will link accounts and cause constant restrictions ..

i get 10/1000 on all new accounts created and list the same day I open the seller account.

because this forum brainwashes them to think its a bad thing to call in, but the last time i checked i started seeing a few people coming out saying its not so bad if they just make the call well prepared.
