When is enough enough?

I am a numbers guy. My internet service always uses the same first two IP numbers. For the sake of arguement, lets say it is 69.69.

So that leaves 256x256 available IP addresses. That is 65K unique addresses.

I have been stealthing for over a year and now have about 12 active accounts with limits anywhere from 5 to 230.

I log in on average 3 times every day to any given account. Not to each...to all.

In all my logins I have only hit a previously used IP address maybe 10 times.

Here is my question.......just how long should I hang on to IPs used? It would be great to clear out my spreadsheets once in a while. Or I guess I could keep doing a search every time and just move my history way down to the bottom of a page (for "FIND" purposes.)

Never had any MC999s on these accounts. I do the metatag thing and play it very safe but sometimes think I am going overboard and spending too much time with admin stealthy stuff and too little time actually making money.

no friggin' way.............

I just "hit" previous IPs twice in a row.

Vegas...here I come!

By my calcs, I am getting unused ones about 99% of the time....

This is just my opinion, but I think after 2-3 months that re-using an IP would be safe. IP alone has never been the exact issue of a suspension, but just a contributing factor along with other stuff.

As far as being too careful when you stealth, is there really such a thing. EB/PP are constantly changing, so you should always keep your game tight. Besides once you start letting your guard down, that is when they get you. I think it is more important protecting your money (and money makers) before trying to procure more money.

I have always liked this saying referring to greed

Exactly. The people who are successful with stealth eliminate ANY POSSIBILITY of linking their accounts. People like to argue that eBay or Amazon are not looking at this or that. But just because they are not looking at it TODAY does not mean they won't start doing so TOMORROW!

I lose accounts like everyone else, but I lose VERY FEW! When we start seeing posts from multiple people losing accounts because of some new security feature, mine are usually untouched. MY methods cost more than most and some would say I am paranoid, but they work well for me and I sleep well at night knowing it is unlikely that eBay or Amazon will put me completely out of business with one keystroke. If they want to link my accounts, they are damn well going to have to EARN IT!

Half-hearted efforts usually produce half-hearted results.

hanging on for more than 6 months is really excessive.
