I purchased a old ebay account with someones paypal info attached. How To Transfer?
 

Hello,
I would like to know how I should proceed with this transfer. I purchased a 10 year old ebay account with someone's info attached to the ebay account and they have their paypal account attached also. They live in a different state than me. I am going to create a paypal account to attach to the ebay account. What info and in what order should I have them change their info into my info. I know you have to do it slow, but I was hoping someone could give me a guideline to do it so their are no red flags.

If you purchased an account that has the paypal attached to it still and you got the paypal with it....USE THAT PAYPAL. Do not create a new one. Add your bank account to the paypal so you can withdraw from it. If you start adding another paypal account to the 10 year old ebay, and the original paypal account was still good, it's going to raise flags. Technically, someone should only have one paypal account. They're going to start asking "why does this guy have another paypal account when the first was perfectly fine?"

i don't think paypal allows its users to sell off their accounts. i could be wrong. its been a while since i read the policy.
