Blocked Bidder Still Able To Contact??
 

Added someone to the idiot list and they sent me a message within 5ish minutes of me doing so. YES, I have the "don't allow blocked bidders to message me" checked off. I had not sent any messages to this seller before hand and never got one from them. Never had a transaction with them either. So how are they able to contact me? All of my settings are in order.

Most likely a glitch in EBay's system.
Id go over the setting and confirm that they were actually saved properly.

Been over the settings numerous times. Check marked "do not let blocked bidders to contact me". Added idiot to the idiot list. Idiot list has commas and spaces where they are needed. Idiot keeps sending me messages. No way for me to report the message either...when I click the tiny link at the bottom of the message, it takes me to ebay help page. Useless.

Did they bid on an item before you put them on the list??

Sometimes I'll catch someone bidding that I don't like and I'll add them to the list and when they get out bided and try to bid they get the blocked message and I sometimes still get a message from them asking why they are blocked

I was told by eBay that if the item has been bought my the buyer, even if you block the buyer, they still cab contact you in regards to the sale.

Yes that's a guarantee if a buyer made a transaction with you than blocking them will just block any future transactions but there messages will always come through because of there purchase

But the OP said that they have never made a transaction, but the system is full proof, it always blocks transactions but the messages sometimes is shaky and they do slip through

No, they made a stupid offer on a buy it now item, I declined and blocked them...and they were able to message me still after. I wouldnt consider making an offer on an item as having a transaction between us.
