Where a seller offers that type of invite, then I too would make an approach.

However I am going to be rather careful of some stranger offering to save me 7 miserable bucks on a TRS account.

:amen:

But, OP specifically mentioned placing phone numbers on their listings so customers can call them. How is that different?

I know $7 is silly in this particular situation, but on items that are a bit more expensive, if the seller has a number listed, the first thing I do is see if they will give me a discount to make the sale outside of EB or AZ.

I'm selling on ebay but also have buyers from my facebook car funpage and 2 cars forums. So will be better have other pp account for this trasaction, rather then use same one linked with ebay?

Re: Accepting payment outside of Ebay

You should always have nice stealth PP for different transaction - build one outside of eB. But make sure registration info is different

Why no PayPal? How about a second account not linked to the eBay account in question?

I know its bad stealth that I don't have any on them as of yet but I can't afford them at the moment.

What do you guys think of adding the phone number in listings? Instead of messaging they can call me or text. Is this okay with eBay? I wouldn't see why it would be a problem but.....its eBay lol

Per eBay TOS this is not allowed. I've had listings taken down for similar violations
