Default Ebay Scammer?

Hi Everyone,

I have a $50 GPS for sale on ebay, this has happened on my past ebay accounts just specifically for this item, its weird, I get this message once a month, I reply but they never purchase anything, not sure what this person is trying to pull here

"
Hello!

I would be interested to buy this item (i don't need the original box and manuals) if you can ship it to Estonia (Europe) for 11.00$ using USPS First-Class MailŪ International Large Envelope. The exact price link is here: International Price Calculator
This has the best price and speed service. I have used this for my USA purchases and it is very reliable. Just make sure to use soft padding for the item. I WILL TAKE all risks and responsibility on my side if the item should get damaged. I can guarantee that your item will fit. I have before also received this item with this USPS shipping method.

I will pay using PayPal. I will pay for the shipping costs 11 $ + ITEM PRICE. As soon i get an OK from you I will take part in your auction.

Thank you!

That seems VERY fishy... but I guess if they pay and you use the Global shipping program.. you should be okay.

Is the person a new account/0 feedback?

I got messages from 4 different accounts within an hour yesterday about shipping to Egypt. All were 0 feedback new users. I wouldn't send anything overseas without making him pay through the global shipping program. This allows for you only to be liable to get the package to your nearest Pitney Bowes shipping center.

Defenetly a scammer. He will recive the item and open a dispute on ebay stating that you did not sent the item in the original box and well protected and it arrived broken. That one is really old.

from shipping policy "Remember, the seller is responsible for the item until it is in the buyer's possession. eBay protects buyers if items arrive damaged, and sellers should consider insuring their items to protect themselves against loss."

Take care!
