Shipping from another state
 

I live in Indiana and will be going to Florida for 10 days to stay a friend. I want to take some of my best selling item with me to Florida. Can i ship my items in Florida with my Indiana address on it? All item are under 13oz. I will be using U.S.P.S.

No problems at all. I ship from Eastern Europe, but claim that items are in Western Europe. No issues. And US states are in the same country, so no issues for sure.

What are you going to do about using the internet during the vacation?

Using a different IP may cause a reaction from paypal.

Is your paypal all in order with a working phone number.

The friend im staying with has the internet and a printer. I have had my paypal for 15 years never had a problem. Yes has a working number to it.

I am just letting you know that sometimes paypal flags transactions when they come in on different IP addresses....

Do you use random IP addresses from a hotspot or do you use a dedicated IP/your internets' static IP?

If you can't connect to the IP that you usually connect to, Paypal and eBay will make you confirm mobile. Like greenbean said, make sure you have the working phone number with you whether its a free online service or the tracfone.

This exact situation happened to me the other day. Be prepared! Better safe than sorry

As stated above I wouldn't be making any account changes or withdrawals from a different ip. You should be fine with ebay as far as listing and shipping.

That's all you really need.


Lol also Make sure your friend doesn't have a suspended ebay account.

Although I have had a buyer complain that my stealth account (bought, didn't have control of the address) return address was the same state as him and I shipped from like 5 states over and it took 1 extra day. Lol

For a break of 10 days? Yes, I would consider that a good option.

Are there any free options, rsot? AFAIK Logmein is no longer free.
