Paying eBay fees with CC
 
Hi,

Is anyone having trouble paying eBay fees with CC? When I setup my CC (instead of choosing to pay via PayPal) I get an error about my card information even though it's 100% valid

Check the expiration date. If it's within 3mo of expiring, ebay doesn't accept it.

Not the problem; the CC doesn't expire until 3/2016. Does eBay ban certain cards? e.g the card number is in the format XXXX-XXXX-1234-5678. Can eBay ban the XXXX-XXXX portion of the card?

Any particular reason you prefer not to use paypal to make the payments? An easy way to cashout some of your paypal funds and not have to worry about the fees.

I prefer not to use PayPal for registering to pay eBay fees because that was a recommendation from a user on this forum who knows a lot more than I do :)
