Best technique to increasing selling limits
 

Hi All, :dance:


I was just wondering what technique does everyone find is the best for increasing selling allowance/limits.

For me i can only ever go from 10 to 100 at a increase and then i increase from there, i find that being really really friendly wiht the rep it works best!!

What do you guys think?:rolleyes:

Its said lots of times on the forum

Avoid talking to eBay

Sell to your limits each month and you will get increases automatically from the system

Start slow
Sell couple of items
Max out 10 items once you have some feedback
-New month
Sell some items, get some feedback
Max out 10 items, get some more feedback

Wait

See what happens
-New month(****, still 10 max limit)
Sell some items
Get some feedback

???
Wait

-New month
???
Rinse and repeat because you are STILL ****ing stuck at 10

PROFIT, limits got bumped.

Stealth is about patients.

If you need to sell more then get more accounts going. More accounts you have the more limit increases you will likely get month

Yeah i have a few accounts setup but its incredibly slow!! Oh well its all about patience

My accounts are stuck at 10 per month, it is so annoying.

Best way is to keep selling, get feedback, make more accounts, build them, etc. - take it slow - calling could cause issues

Yea, I have a couple that are stuck at 10 per month too, not really sure why these have not got increases while others have. The accounts have a above average status and no issues.

My 5/500 account in already at 100/10,000 limit!!

The thing with limits is that we can't predict what we're going get or IF we're going to get increases. People are always looking for tricks but in the end the best "tip" is to just list up to the current limits and maybe the limits will increase.

Simple, yet very efficient.

Logic tells us that if you sell to your limits, get great feedback and have customers rating you high, then for sure you will get the limits bumped.

I have several accounts, and i see.
when i sell a lot and list to max ther is no increasing.

but when i sell 5-10% of total i get each month increasing its on German ebay.


and on UK

pay fees on time and limit grow 1-2times in Month, if i 1time not paid invoice, no more limits past 6months till this day.

I once thought limits were reviewed at the end of the month around the 20th when the new DSR ratings came out, but I've had increases at odd points in time as well.

And yes, I've seen my limits bumped twice, and once even three times in a 30 day period, but very, very rarely.

It seems to happen on an established account that was unused for a while, with limits like 50/5000 when you restart using the account and sell up close to the limit in a very brief period of time, such as over a period of 10 days or so.

If you get lucky and you still come close to bumping the new limit by the end of the month, you may get a second, even larger bump.

But it's rare, it's happened to me maybe 3 times in 4 years. Sometimes I get an account whose sales take off for no obvious reason.

If you have maxed out the account for 3 months straight and have not gotten an increase by month 4, then let the account sit idle a couple months (if you can afford this luxury) then max it out again. This is not 100% for me, but has worked very very often.

Well. This is Really really unpreditable and i guess it is all by design. Sometimes, i get 5/500 and I call and they ask me few question which i pass and i get 100/5000 or 500/25,000 so i guess it depends on who you get sometimes they say i need to way 30 day sor 45 days or 2 months. you never know what you will get that is my experience

recently all i am getting is 5/500 and wait 30 days and after the 30 days when i call i get 10/1000 and every month they double it.

It cant be this way there has to be a way because as a business model this will never work. unless they dont want more sellers which is information we dont have. maybe they are getting more sellers than buyers..

I would like to see others experience on this I am recently having trouble getting good acounts

When you have 1 account, and you sell your limits, there is a chance youll get raised fast or slow. Matter of luck.
if it raises slow, you'll be sure there is a system and you'r just on the wrong path.
Though, if you have 20 accounts, and 5 of them get raised, you'll be sure you got the system.
Just sell as many as you can with as many accounts as you can.
Some will get raised fast.
