Banks?[UK]

Hi , just a question with regard to bank accounts as its confused me for a bit. I unmderstand with each bank you can have multiple sub bank accounts which, in paypal/ebay eyes, have no connection to each other. So if I have a bank which is blackmarked by paypal/ebay, I can open for example a savers account (eg barclays) and I will receive new details which I can then enter into paypals system.

1.)Is everything stated above correct?
2.) What do people advise me to do in this situation, which type of sub account should i open.

Thanks in advance

Hi, yes this is true.
Saver accounts do work but will need more research on the forums to understand the pros & cons of these.
You could always look at opening another bank too?

1 - Yes that is all correct
2 - Ideally you want an account that will not reject the direct debit, but even accounts that do (like savings accounts) work well

Yes, you can have more than one current account with Barclays for example, after first one has been opened, even if you haven't done much with it after that Ebay/PayPal combo getting suspended, they are still more than happy to let you open more accounts. Just remember to leave appropriate lengths of time between opening those accounts, 2-3 a year is probably about right.

Barclays told me that current accounts were the best option for using with PayPal.

Re: Banks?[UK]

Thanks for everyones help
I understand there are savers, basics and currents. Are these all names for the sub account within the bank?
What are the differences between these different types of account (stealth wise and bank wise), what is the recommended type eg for barclays?

Would really appreciate if someone could guide me as to what to do for banking [barclays], as this is the only step left for the stealth account

I understand when entering a saver, please correct if wrong:
Add the savers to PP, watch your Bnk account on-line and add the micro's as soon as they land, once i add the micro's i remove the savers and then when i need some money i use the withdraw option as normal and then you are asked to attach a bnk account, i just re-attach the savers and you are not re-asked for the DD mandate.

Current accounts are the best type of accounts to use with Barclays for stealth purposes. And yes you seem to have the right idea for attaching savings accounts to your paypal.
