Gauging interest in custom receipts
 

Everyone knows if you sell on eBay and have a receipt of purchase, it will generate a higher final value at the end of the auction. Not ALWAYS, but in MOST cases it will. Or help with VERO issues.

What if you could have custom high quality thermal paper receipts saying what store, address, and additional item details including price that you would supply. So you can add it for your customers?

Im curious to see the response here from fellow stealth members.

No its for listing in addition to having the item.

IE - Lacoste T-Shirt with receipt - Receipt is for a no-name local outlet store for whatever price the seller wants. Which would probably be the going price for the item.

Items that come with the receipt generally sell for more and also have a more authentic look to them. If they were Vero that is.

Yes, having a store receipt always helps with a sale!!

Im just saying that it could be used like that. It could also be used by someone who legitimately purchased an item and lost or threw out the receipt not thinking they would end up selling it. It would then get the seller more money for the item they owned.

There are a lot of good reasons to have a custom receipt I think. They all end with getting more money in the end.

I think some people are confusing this thread with something to do with...

Customs Receipts (a receipt for customs, shipping international)

instead of...

Custom Receipt (a receipt made to detail a transaction for a customer)

Like modee said, it's fraud! What if the buyer try to contact the phony store?

I think it will sell more items but like the one lister said what if the customer try to contact the phoney store?

Could give a dead number or say the store has recently closed. Like a HUGE example on the North east USA would be a GIANT electronic store that just closed from bankruptcy. If you were selling electronics that is.
