No sales in 3 weeks compared to 20-30 a day before limitation
 

hi there

i have a family member who recently started up selling on ebay and is doing well with 80 feedback in a month but recently they got limited because of one of my accounts so they resolved that limitation but havent sold a single item in 3 weeks since that!! where as before she was selling 20-30 iteams a day!! any advice?

Yep, welcome to ebay.

they throttle traffic all the time and no one talks about it.

Once you get a warning or even too many open cases, you will see sales drop for no reason.

I know NORMAL ebay sellers with 10 years experience that don't believe me on this subject. But when you mange 5 to 10 stealth aco****s you can see how the traffic is favored. I have some accounts with the same item same prices, same pics, everything.. but 1 account will sell 4 to 6 a day and the others will sell 1 to 2 a day...

YOU should have learned about stealth before you made the second account. Now you are on the BAD BOY list on Ebay. That account could take months before they treat you like a good seller again. If you have $200 go buy a stealth account and sell on that for a bit. If you don't have the money then get ready for a some really slow weeks. :-)

Could be her item is not near the front of 'best match' section on ebay any more.

Try searching for an item of hers and see what page it appears on.

I've noticed that when I search for my own items when signed in they are higher in search than when I search when not signed in

To go from 20/30 a day to 0 is drastic. There are obvious visibility issues if nothing else has changed.

Can she check her traffic reports and see how many hits she is getting before the limitation and after?

That "vacation" caused them to fall off the first "Best match" page. And it is VERY hard to get back.

Once you have a limitation of any kind, your ratings drop. This kills your best match rating.

Probably won't come back any time soon. EB holds a grudge longer than my ex-wife.
