Get Your Original Old Faithful Username Back !!!
 

A neighbour of mine has just opened a new eBay account and got his old username back from 2004, apparantly they are recycling names now so you can get those long awaited names you have been waiting for get to it folks i am after a 5 letter one as we speak...

After an account is suspended eBay does NOT delete the accounts. I don't know how thats possible that people can reuse usernames.

Yep it is true they are now e-mailing owners to log in or lose there account forever, they are depleting old accounts so old names are available again.

They have been doing this since 2011, at least that I know of. Before I knew what I was doing I created tons of accounts and the ones that never turned seller which later would get link/suspended got a email usually saying due to inactivity you may lose you account etc. I don't believe they are deleting suspended accounts. That would make absolutely no sense from their security side of things..
