Idea on how to fight scammers. May work?.
 

You basically pack the item in front of a camera while sitting outside the post office. While filming the box the entire time. The label already being on the box.. You never let the camera leave the box and you film the label and then drop it in the mail box while filming it.

I don't have enough time to film every package I drop off.

Maybe for items that were over $300 or whatever. It could help for item not received but for anything else, no.

Perhaps then sell the idea to some ****peddlers network and make a reality TV show out of it? Maybe try to market it for a slot just before Storage Wars or Baggage Wars.

Ha good idea but way too time consuming, overall its just a part of doing business, just try to reduce your risks as much as possible by doing sig. confirmation for expensive items etc

I had a case once on paypal and had a feeling the buyer was going to send me an empty box back. When the box arrived I had to collect t from customs as they wanted to know what was in it for vat purposes.

I let the customs guys open the box and I filmed it. The box was full of shredded paper.
I uploaded the video to youtube for paypal and they never even looked at it closed the case in the buyers favour. Case was won on appeal with a police report.

So doubt very much filming an item leaving your hands with stand up.

Paypal and ebays seller protection rules are very clear.

Nowhere does it say "if you film yourself packaging and sending items we will back you 100%"

If I was you, i'd be addressing why you run in to so many scammers.

This would also require somebody working at ebay/paypal spending the time to actually watch this video. From my experience, most customer service reps wouldn't take the time to watch

I was thinking about putting a go-pro camera INSIDE the box so the item is filmed during the whole trip and also the guy who actually open the box and take it out is filmed.

Everything streamed on the internet, ready to be recorded. :thumb:

Also, only matter of time when you get busted with some dirty homemade sex tape that you accidentally sent to eBay.
Not worth the risk.
