Item not showing 23 views WTH
 

I listed my 8th item today (19$ BIN)
It has 23 views already but it's not showing yet.
Should i be worried?

It can take upto 24 hours for items to appear.

Bots sometimes view an item. 23 is pretty high but I wouldnt read too much into it.

I know i usually get 12 views before it appears but 23 scares me.
Also a German buyer opened a case(where is my item)today.
How can he open a case when it's been only 9 days since he payed?

9 days is quite a while... What was their expected delivery date?

9 days? Damn, no wonder he opened a case. Did you provide him with the tracking number at least?
I takes 9 days from UK to US and AUS, and those are the two trickiest ones out there.

Yes i shipped same day and uploaded the tracking.Item is actually in Germany at the moment.Registered mail from my country takes 2 weeks sometimes faster.

You need to set the estimated delivery time higher. If it's set higher, they cannot open cases until it's due.

You choose your dispatch and postal times when creating a listing.

It seems i have chosen Economy international shipping.

9 days is nothing, not all countries have the privilege of fast and efficient postal systems.

German buyers can be tough, they like to overuse exclamation and question marks

"Where is my item????? I paid for it yesterday!!!!!!"

Add the Dispatch time and Postage time together to see how long you have, or search for your listing (when it shows) and you can see the estimated date. They cannot open any cases until that date has passed, and (for UK at least) eBay send you a message once a month telling you the amount of people who tried to open cases too early.

For international you could perhaps put 2-3 days dispatch and then a longer transit time. Even if you send it out the same or next day, better to keep a small buffer if you suffer with getting too many cases opened.

This seems to apply with the majority of parents who have special kids, whom I should supposedly care about.

On the listing you can choose how long you will take to dispatch and what post option. You can lie and put a worse postage choice, which takes longer to get there, and then send it by the faster mail.

I'm accessing the account on my phone,not sure i can choose a number of days for dispatching?
Anyway,how did he managed to opened a case when the estimated availability is 3 May?

Buyers can open cases at any time - this particular buyer might just be a want-it-now type...or has reservations and wants to cancel...or is just screwing you over

Is this an international thing? On eBay UK it doesn't allow you to open a case until the due date (for item not received at least).

I even get messages from eBay to say X amount of buyers tried to open a case too early and we stopped them.
