Buying Feedback
 

Hi guys

Are there any sellers where you are just buying positive feedback.

I am trying to build up my stealth account and I know I can obviously by some 99p things but want to ensure that I always get feedback as some sellers you have to chase to get them to leave it.

This is feedback manipulation....this isn't condoned or promoted on the forum. Also, buyers feedback isn't going to do a lot for your account. What you need is "SELLERS" feedback, that's what counts.

Just leave a note in your packaging slips it does help to increase feedbacks. Agree with mm78 seller feedback is what counts.

Terrible idea.
The ebay bots are very good at 'sniffing' this sort of feedback manipulations and shutting such accounts down.
Not worth the risk and not worth the effort.

Accumulate your numbers legitimately.

People will buy from you even if you have no feedback or stars at all, everybody starts at zero.

Also don't confuse seller feedback with transactions.

In terms of defect count and ratings, no feedback counts the same as a positive and 5 stars on everything, the only disadvantage is that your FB count doesn't rise. Negative feedback affects both stars and feedback count.

For example, last month on one account I had 137 transactions and 3 defects. In that period I only got 45 feedback. My positive feedback count rose by 45, my defect rate for the month was 2.19%.

I'm one of those who think that asking for feedback increases the risk of somebody giving you a star ding not understanding that it will damage you.
