Shipping Labels with item description on Label
 

Is it possible to print a shipping label with a Label Printer that includes the item name on the Label?

Not sure about other software but it's possible with Stamps.com. There's a specific section at the very bottom where you can type a short note or anything you want. It should be enough space for an item name, but you would have to type it in manually. It works with my Dymo 4XL.

Thanks for the response plumsake2. Let me explain my situation....

I have an item with 5 variations:
Black, White, Red, Blue, Yellow and 10 items of each color. I want to be able to print all 50 labels with Label Printer then immediately find out which label corresponds to the correct item/buyer.

I Can confirm that you can do it with Stamps.

EB is suppose to have an "add a description" function on their bulk mailing tool, but I've never been able to get it to work.

I used to put a description on my labels, and it increased the theft/disappearance rate. People can see if it's worth stealing. Also, customers complained - a lot!

Why not print 10 labels for the yellow shirt and draw a line with a yellow sharpie on the label somewhere, the same for the red, blue, etc.

I just use a code like A1, A2, A3, etc. and consult my product chart to know what to put in the envelope.
