Need Help with a unfair defect by customs service.
 
A buyer opened a case on Sunday for item not received.
Although in the message it had stated that the buyer indeed received the item. THE buyer said I received the item although it was not on time, which was untrue. I would like the delivery refunded. But the delivery was free.

Just called up where I stand

Called up eBay. My calls are handle with Top eBay Customer Care. Was put through Far East resolutions department.
I told eBay. Why is such a case is opened when the buyer stated that the item has been received and the buyer wants a refund.
eBay said there shouldn't be any case open.

Anyway, she says she would close the case. She said money would be released and you do not have to refund the buyer.

What's happens today. Checked my seller dashboard.
The eBay agent close this case in buyers favour. And also close it on without sellers resolution.
Now I have a defect 0.13%

The eBay agent should have told me that the case was in buyers favour and also I would be getting a defect
I just had called for information. Most of the time I couldn't understand what she was saying.

This edges me on 3.16% defects.

Sick of this unfair DSR rating.
Buyers are not helping then top of that eBay is failing to help you.

Already I sell items and at lose money just to maintain my DSR.

Next time, PLEASE post here rather than trust what ebay will say to you.


Soon as you got that weird message, you may have been better to contact the buyer to work out resolution.

We all know by now that ebay work off a script and are totally inflexible.

Part of sorting issues is direct communications with the buyer.

You can try going back to ebay and asking for an explanation as you explained to us.

Consider other approaches in the future.

As you realise you need to protect your account & have no way of that assurance from ebay.

I am sorry this happened to you, eternity.
