| ebayuser88 | 04-30-2015 07:37 PM | Ebay App for Iphone When making a stealth ebay/paypal account, can i still use the ebay app for my iphone to check messages and what not? or will ebay track my iphone to my home ip (which is banned).. or should i take it off wi-fi connection (go on LTE) whenever i need to check a message? |
| aspkin | 04-30-2015 07:41 PM | Re: Ebay App for Iphone I strongly recommend against using the eBay/PayPal app via your smartphone. Even if you reinstall the app or your device, it's locked on to your phone's ID which you can't change easily. It's best to use the mobile browser instead. |
| ebayuser88 | 04-30-2015 07:43 PM | Re: Ebay App for Iphone ok, i have an account that is banned from selling but i still buy stuff on that one. if i have the app linked to the banned account, and use the mobile browser for my stealth account, there shouldnt be a way to link them both together even if im using the same phone correct? |
| aspkin | 04-30-2015 07:45 PM | Re: Ebay App for Iphone Well, your IP address can link you but other then that everything else is separated. |
| ebayuser88 | 04-30-2015 07:47 PM | Re: Ebay App for Iphone so would going LTE be the better option every time i need to check something? meaning i disconnect from my home wi-fi connection |
Re: Ebay App for Iphone Never use the eb or pp app |

You could be safe using your lte service.
but simple answer is just to not use those apps altogether. Not worth losing the account when you can simply check at home later on. |

Re: Ebay App for Iphone Instead of the app you could try to use different user accounts on the iPad plus web browsers. |

Just noticed this is a old thread. | This Year....it will be asked another 110 times in different variations.....why? because people can't be bothered with the search function. People use Google, Yahoo daily but for some reason they are scared of Aspkin Search :noidea: go figure! |

Proven factory reset does not make the iphone safe to use again.
Make sure you read posts by MM78 who did a lot of helpful reasearch on this issue.
