High Risk Items?

just made a stealth ebay/paypal account. got everything checked out and working. now i want to know about selling. what are considered high risk items and when should a person start selling them?

a little background about me is i want to sell shoes. Nike, jordans, etc prices ranging from about $200-$1000 but all will be through auction style starting at .99 cents or buy it now. are these considered high risk? all authentic, legit, etc by the way.

Re: High Risk Items?

everything branded is high risk, even if its a authentic or with a store receipt it is still considered a high risk item

Even if they are authentic they are still very high risk on a new account

You need to look more towards unbranded items to get an account started.

Selling items of well-known companies is always risky.

Wow, you want to sell Jordan's right off the bat with a stealth account. You will be instantly suspended and if it somehow goes through on eBay, I'm sure PayPal might limit your account. Start your account up slowly man, sell some stuff from the dollar tree even if you take small hit on this items, build your account up slowly. 90% of the eBay accounts I create have 5/$500 limitations, to sell high priced items like these you definitely have your work cut out for you. Be safe! Don't get mad when a couple of your PayPal accounts get limited!

You need to sell like very old clothing like a t-shirt for around $10~. Making too much money that fast is a sure way to cause trouble. I would say after your first month. You can try posting a pair of jordans every week or so.

These are heavily counterfitted (as I am sure you are aware) :nono:

Be prepared to be limited and suspended.

Authentic or not...you could run into problems in the shoe market with demands for proof vs. outright blocking
