could someone please tell me the right way of going about selling ebooks on ebay please? Thanks

Ebooks = kiss of death. The only way I can see it working is if you ship out a cd with the book or something tangible so you have proof.

Im talking about the risk factor as in will I get banned if I list it.

Oh, I assumed everyone knew they were high risk and not worth trying to sell....my bad, Yes, you will get limited/banned eventually.

High risk indeed - quite dangerous to sell - anyone who has success with this is unlikely to share secrets as people will kill them.

Best tip? If you are wanting badly to sell ebooks, experiment and test out what works.

anything digitally related is very high risk especially for a new user. expect tons of trouble.

As other have said:

in a new account: kiss it goodbye.

I've had great success in older established accounts selling all sorts of digital goods.

HOWEVER: Eventually eBay looses their patience, even on established accounts. That's how I ended up here.

BOTTOM LINE: If you're going to sell digital goods of any sort, make sure your account is established (at least 100 feedback, minimum). Even then, after your FIRST warning, back off for at least 60 days, and don't push it....it's not worth losing an account over.

Digital stuff is for really strong accounts. I created 15 stealth accs, and only 4 of them managed to survive selling digital stuff. So, if you have enough time and patience, you can do it, but I am not sure selling 0.99p stuff under such risk is worth it.

learned this the hard way years back...sold a digital ebook on ebay and everything worked out fine.. next thing you know, a representative from the book company sent me an actual letter to my home address. She demanded that I hand in the money that I made from the sale or take it in court.
