Seller performance

I'd like to understand the Seller Performance better.

1) As I see from my seller dashboard, I currently have one return that was completed and closed with a refund. Seller dashboard says that if I have more than 8 defects in the last year (currently, like May-14 to May-15), it will cause Below Standard performance (which obviously will lead to bad things). So... is it really true, that 8 opened cases during 1 year will cause a suspension, even if these cases were closed successfully with an instant full refund?

2) There is another gauge in the dashboard - "cases closed without seller resolution". I suppose that it does not raise above zero if I close all returns without issues?

Re: Seller performance

1. It depends on the number of items overall sold. If youre a casual seller selling a couple of items a month then the answer is yes. If youre a bigger more active seller selling hundreds or thousands of items then it is decided by the percentage of defective transactions on the account. If you sold 1000 items and had 10 defects that's only 1% which is fine.
2. Sounds about right. Don't know that it has any impact on the number of defects though since anything opened as a case counts as a defect - even when resolved properly.

Thanks a lot for dropping some light on this one. Can you please say, what is the threshold of sales, when they start to count % of defects for Seller Performance calculations, instead of just an absolute max number of 8 per year?
