Default High Limits Too Fast?

Hey everyone.

Most people are interested about getting limits quickly, well I'm at the point where I wonder if I'm getting them too quickly.

I have a 7 month aged account with 1,300/$40,000 limits. I have been pushing each month my limits but am starting to wonder if reaching a certain threshold generates the bots to review your account.

I'm TRS/Bronze Powerseller with 100% feedback and 0 defects so I'm doing a great job on this account BUT still don't want the attention a bot could bring. I know my limits aren't insanely high but eventually they will be. Is this something I should "worry" about?

It makes sense from eBays perspective to do this on accounts with super high limits, just a double check they're a legit business. And when your pushing the 100,000 dollar limit....your a business in their eyes most defiantly.

FYI Everything I sell is legit so I'm not worried about that its just the whole I.D request mess is something I'd like to avoid.

Hey Sole how long did it take you to get your first limit bump? My account is a little over a month old and it started out at 1k/25k limit. I already hit that and I'm waiting patiently for another bump.

For me this seems to be determined on what category and items being sold in addition to how fast tracking is loaded and delivered goods followed by lack of cases.

Items and category seem to be the biggest aspect.

On my no risk items I usually get two increases in the first 30 days, sometimes three.

On categories ebay dislikes I don't get any at all and even a restriction. Even very basic categories such as home-goods.

As always thanks Yankee for your input.

@123 no I'm waiting on the letter from PayPal and then I'll be adding it.

I don't think I asked my question properly though. It's not I suppose getting limits to quickly like Yankees 2-3 bumps in one month but more so the amount th bot is increasing you by.

For instance when you sell over 100,000 in US gernerally speaking the IRS pays a bit more attention to your tax refund compared to say someone making 20k. My point is if the bot doubles a limit of 80,000 or even triples it does this warrant closer eyes on your account?

I've seen to many sellers say when they grow their account to where they are a thriving business but not a big money making business for ebay things can happen very negative to these stronger account.

Just trying to prepare myself, thanks everyone!

Very interesting. I'm selling things that aren't high risk. Currently have 45 sales 100% feedback in 20 days. Could really use a limit bump big time! Hopefully it happens soon. Thanks!

I have been working for an ebay-powered company, who have 2 ebay accounts for the past 2 years and it looks like you're all good to go. As long as all your information is legit(addresses and other personal information) then you shouldn't face any obstacles. At my workplace we created an ebay account about 2.5 years ago and today we have 3000000/£5000000 selling allowance/month wheras the second account, which was created 1 year ago now has 120000/£2000000 selling allowance. The 3.5 year old account is VAT registered but the more recent one isn't and they're both running very smoothly.
If you ever do face any problems then please submit another post and explain it in as vast details as you possibly can and we will do out best to try to figure out a way around it for you.
Ps I apologise for the spelling mistakes, my iPhone's autocorrect is disabled.

My info isn't legit, it's stealth lol. If it was my real name I wouldn't be concerned.
